Muslim leaders blame LTTE on Mannar issue

Head of the all island Jammathulla Ulama organization Asshaiq Rizvi Mupthi urge the interference of his eminence cardinal Malcom Ranjith to solve the tense situation currently arose in the Mannar district.

Leader made this statement during the weekly prayers service at Kollpity Jummah mosque today. Cardinal Malcom Ranjith need to solve present tense situation arose between two communities in the Mannar district. This problem needs to be solving in humanitarian manner. This was the problems which rise on basis of rights of Muslim community. Politician should not act according to their political benefits. Some people hope to robe the properties of muslim community in the Mannar district. We all need to pray to find proper solution for this problem. Muslims around the world and residing in the other parts of SriLanka should work for the rights of Muslims in Mannar said Asshiq Rizvi. Muslims stage protest in Colombo against problems faced by the Muslims in Mannar by the recently resettled LTTE supports in these areas. This protest stage in front of the Mosque in Maradhana.
